How to do a floor coupler by the hands

If you decided to lay a laminate, a parquet on a floor or want to put a ceramic tile on a floor, you already know that only the equal surface for this purpose approaches. For alignment of a surface of a floor it is accepted to do a coupler. It is possible to entrust the coupler device to the professional and to be quiet for result and the spent money. And it is possible, possessing a sufficient stock of time and patience, to save the considerable sum and to make a coupler the hands.

Couplers serve first of all for alignment of a floor, but they also have to maintain load of a floor. There are some types of couplers. The main are cement and sand and concrete. It is recommended to read filling of a coupler from installation of "beacons". Boards can act as "beacons" or that is more modern, metal profiles which are attached to the basis by screws or by means of dense solution. "Beacons" establish at the necessary level, at distance no more than 1-1,5 m from each other.

Solution for a coupler in house conditions can be prepared in a basin or a bucket by means of the electric drill with a special nozzle mixer. Dense dough has to have a consistence of ready solution as. Do not prepare solution in advance, after all it is good for use no more than 1,5 hours.

Professionals recommend to begin the coupler device with the highest point. The stacked solution needs to be leveled and rolled the needle roller that solution laid down more evenly, and there were no air gaps. It is necessary to level solution on level. Oboprite level on two next "beacons" also level a surface until it becomes equal.

Remember that optimum temperature for works on a coupler is equal approximately 20&degС. Indoors on operating time there should not be drafts. It is desirable to finish a coupler of one room or one level (when the coupler becomes in one room under different floor coverings) in one day.

If the coupler becomes in the big room, it is necessary to take care of special deformation seams which represent small gaps between massifs of a coupler. Deformation seams are filled after the main coupler. The ready coupler can crack if not to moisten it few times with water. For the second or third day after laying of a coupler it is necessary to take out beacons and to fill emptiness on their place with solution.

It is not necessary to start laying of a floor covering earlier, than in 30 days after performance of a coupler. So much time is necessary for cement to gain sufficient durability.
